She certainly is generous and caring when it comes to helping others, but a recent report suggests Angelina Jolie unknowingly purchased land from an official accused of crimes against humanity.
The ?Salt? actress bought a piece of Cambodia property from the country?s former official of the Khmer Rouge, the communist party accused of mass murder in the country.
According to FOX News, in 2005 when Jolie was granted Cambodian citizenship and allowed to own land herself, she looked into transferring the land into her name.
And then in 2009, Yim Tith was charged with crimes against humanity by international prosecutors working with the United Nations because he was in charge of an area of Cambodia where 600,000 died as a result of the Khmer Rouge misrule.
