Looking to surprise his wife with the jewels of a Hollywood icon, David Beckham is reportedly planning to purchase late actress Elizabeth Taylor's pricey personal diamond collection for wife Victoria.
According to reports, the international soccer stud is ready to fork over 2.9 million pounds for the coveted jewels - all to prove his love for his lady.
?David?s been so happy since Harper was born, he feels like their falling in love all over again! He wants to show it with the most impressive gifts possible," a source close to the A-list couple revealed.
The insider added, "It?s like that little girl has just flipped a switch in David?s brain and he?s more in love with his wife than ever. He?s been cooking romantic dinners for Victoria - something he hasn?t done since they were married."
The prized diamonds are set for sale at Christie's auction house in December, with all proceeds to go to Taylor's charity, The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
