Scientists Undeterred By Hubble Successor's Costs

A recent independent review said the James Webb Space Telescope will cost about $1.5 billion more than the $5 billion NASA had planned to spend. But the telescope will be able to peer at the very first galaxies and reveal parts of the universe that have never been seen before.
